Freelancers are Not Getting Paid Enough

There are a lot of freelance bidder’s sites out there, where you can make a little extra money. But one of the problems on these freelance bidders’ sites is that most of the service buyers want their project done for almost near to nothing.

Let me give you an example of an actual project text:

I need a writer to write 50 articles for a website. Each article need to be at least 500 to a 1000 words. I will pay $1 to $2 per article (according to length.) If it all works out right, I will have more work later on. Note: All articles are checked using Copyscape.

Looking forward to your bid!
<Name left out>

If I read such a project description I not only skip it, but I also get a little angry. You can make $100 dollar maximum on this project, but it will take you hours to complete.

What are those service buyers thinking? That all freelancers will do the work for just a few bucks?

Not only will they pay you near to nothing, they also inadvertently accusing all freelancers of plagiarism (running all the articles through Copyscape.)

If you pay as little as that, then you will attract “freelancers” that will give you downloaded articles. You get what you pay for, remember that!

You can’t always get what you want!

As Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones sings; you can’t always get what you want!

This is what service buyers must keep in mind when they set out a new project.
They must choose between the price that they are willing to pay and getting a professional freelancer.

I know that they want the project done as cheap as possible, but you can’t always get what you want. Sometimes you need to pay a little more to get the job done correctly!

So next time you post a project also think about the freelancer you want, a good or a bad one. Just pay a little more and you will attract the good one!

    If some one really need good articles, they should first try getting few small articles and see how good the writer is, even try different freelancers, if not you may get junk text as article written by some one who think they are great writers.
